 Man Between, The (1953)
IMDB rating: 7.00
Plot: “It wasn’t a particularly good story, but I liked the atmosphere of Berlin after the war, and I wanted to work again with James Mason.” Thus did director Carol Reed explain his decision to return to thrillers with The Man Between. Unfortunately, political conditions forced Reed out of Berlin before shooting wrapped, compelling him to complete the picture in the studio. Even so, the story of East Berliner Ivo Kern (Mason) who rescues Susanne Mallison (Claire Bloom), a British woman trapped in the Soviet Zone, is a minor masterpiece of suspense. Despite great danger to himself, Kern takes it upon himself to escort Mallison back to her family in West Berlin. After a daring dash through the countryside, the seeming impossible is achieved—but only through a conspicuous act of self sacrifice. Never completely satisfied with The Man Between, Carol Reed grudgingly admitted “It made back its money.”

i'm torn between my "family" church and a new way of life?
Since I was younger I was forced to go to a Pentacostal church that my mom went too and it wasn’t till I got older till I found out alot of truth from the trinity misconception, to the hell misconception, the tithing misconception just alot of things that are hidden to people unless they find out themselves even going as far as getting an old version of the bible then you will really be shocked to see how much man added stuff in the bible that wasn’t there. www.tentmaker.org.
That being said I continued with my spiritual journey. As the weeks passed by I would sit in the pew feeling sad that the Pastor would give all this doctrine, nothing good in it just yelling, stand up, sit down, oh yeah and "God wants you to love…and oh follow holiness"..while the youth look confused and most people would feel sad about themselves, and I spoke to the congregation how I saw a divide in this world and we need more love and peace and unity…and they clapped but when i realized how that may have been inappropriate I backed down. Ever since then I haven’t gone to church and my mom keeps telling me God isn’t pleased with that but I don’t think she can speak 4 God.I don’t know what to do….I kinda miss the people there, but not the messages and how the church is going.. the Pastor just last week preached on turning off the tv from any artist that is not Christian now when my mom sees a secular artist she despises them….it just hurts my heart …and my mom even told him I would be a youth leader to get me to stay but whats the point if I have totally different views?? I’m confused =/ what would you do?

The Trinity is true. And that "tentmaker" site is all false teachings.
The truth is that Jesus is God, and the Trinity is true, and salvation is only by believing in Jesus for free salvation! That simple! John 3:16! Salvation is a free gift! Salvation is not by "being holy enough". Salvation is only by believing in Jesus for free salvation!
Eternal torment and separation from the Lord in the lake of fire is real. Nobody has to be sent to the lake of fire. Believe in Jesus for free salvation, and you will never be sent there
Jesus died on the cross to pay for all our sins! And then Jesus rose from the dead!
Jesus loves you so very much!
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to hell, is by believing in Jesus for salvation, believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for all our sins as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
Please pray now: "Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross to pay for my sins and that You rose from the dead, and I thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die!

It’s called growing up. The more you practice making your own decisions now, the better your life will be in the long run.
Trust no one - find things out for yourself. The moment someone approaches you with the ‘absolute truth’ you should suspect them of lying.

So what exactly are you wanting? Do you want to go to a new church? Try different sects? Renounce your religion?
You need to talk to your mom about this. It was hard for me, because my parents were both conservative Baptists, so I know where you’re coming from. I’m not slurring conservative Baptists or religious people, but whenever opposite minds meet, conflicts are to be had. Anyway, just talk to your mother and be open and honest. Tell her you value how much she cares about you and understands that she only wants to see you make what she thinks is the right decision. But let her know that you are old enough to think for yourself–just be mature about statements like that, don’t get huffy. In the end, it is your life and it is up to you to decide what you want to do with it. If your mother loves you (as I’m sure she does), she will respect your decisions.
As for missing the people of your church, why not give them a call? If it’s the youth, invite them over to hang out or something. If it’s older members you’re familiar with, just call or write them and ask them over for dinner.
Good luck, and I hope you find a path that works for you.

if you still have a faith then go somewhere else…but htere are always going to be doctrines in church we dont like or agree with-if these contradict the core of the gospel then go somewhere else! but you are never going to get the perfect doctrine!
the tentmaker website is crap btw! it promotes universalism that is the polar opposite to the teachings of Jesus! you just have to read the passage re nicodimus (sp) to know that Jesus wasnt saying everyone would be saved!

1. Rule of Thumb: Don’t believe everything you read on the net or in the newspapers/media, etc.
2. Rule of Thumb: God’s Word is always the bottom line.
God’s word says to "Obey your Parents" (see Exodus 20; Matthew 15:4-6; Mark 7:10; Luke 18:20)
Petition your prayers up to God.
Question man’s world views & compare it to the bible to see if it’s true.
God will lead you in the right path according to His will if you keep looking to Him.
